What's the difference?

The biggest difference that you will see between PRO and Value is the dirt, dust & scratch removal and color balance. Both scans will be a high resolution 18MP scan and can be saved as Jpeg or Tiff.

Some negatives will have more dust & scratches than others, some will have less. Our Value service allows you to digitally preserve your negatives at a lower cost while still offering our highest quality of the PRO scans for customers who want to do some of the post scan editing themselves.

negatives that have an exceptional amount of dirt, dust & scratches on the film will be more visible on the value level digital images. They are more visible against darker backgrounds.

Negatives with a lot of scratches and dust are more noticable against darker backgrounds.
